World’s most expensive player Paul Pogba has pleaded with Manchester United fans to be patient after a shocking 1-3 defeat to Watford.
The French international promised the fans that he and his teammates will ‘continue fighting’ after a miserable week as the Red Devils have lost three games in eight days.
Pogba disaapointed after Watford scored the injury time penalty
Pogba tweeted: “Thanks to all supporters for being there for us, results are not there yet but we will continue fighting, United we can!”
The former Juventus midfielder had an effort hit the cross-bar in the first half at Vicarage Road but could not prevent United from suffering a nail-biting defeat.

With their 3 – 1 loss to Watford, Manchester United have now lost three consecutive games, having lost to City rivals Manchester City on Saturday, September 10, as well as their Europa League loss to Feyernoord on Thursday, September 15.
Manchester United slipped further down to seventh after Spurs and Arsenal won their weekend fixtures against Sunderland and Hull City respectively.
United travel to Northampton for a League Cup game on Wednesday September 21st and square-up against defending champions Leicester City at Old Trafford in a week 6 fixture.
